Aiyoh.... seriously, why is everyone so distraught over the
closure of railway station?
It's not as though KTM is quitting Singapore entirely.... it
will stop at the Woodlands checkpoint.
Besides, the verdamn tracks cut Singapore in half! And I spent
four years at Gan Eng Seng School at the old Raeburn Park site.....
right next to the railway station. The air quality there was
verdamn horrible!
I've also read some KNN cockanadens in Malaysian forums
lamenting about how they can no longer 'hold Singapore to ransom'
over their railway line!
Seriously, preserve the Tanjong Pagar and Bukit Timah stations
for their historical value, but the tracks have gotta go!
the same reason the bus nutters go nutters when something
happens to the bus routes, schedules, type of engine, bus
makes/models etc?
